Charity Cycle Challenge Info
To complete this challenge you must complete your chosen distance of cycling before 31st December 2021. You can complete this in a single 'best effort' session, or in multiple sessions before the deadline. You can use a regular bike outdoors (road, trails, round the park - it's your choice!) or use an indoor static or exercise bike.
The faster you complete your distance, the higher up the leaderboard you will sit. You will submit the details of your cycling sessions using our online form and see the results table update instantly. When you complete your challenge distance and have submitted all your results, we will send your awards out to you by post.
Want to enter with friends or family?
This is a great challenge to complete together - each person can select their own distance.
Please note: Don't enter for multiple people in one order as our submission system requires each challenger to have their own account. Purchase the challenge separately or you can use the 'Gift This Product' option to pay for the challenge and send it to someone else via email (They will need to open their email to accept the gifted challenge and create their own account at checkout on our website).
For successful completion of this challenge you will receive a commemorative challenge coin and postcard sized completion certificate which will be sent by post. All awards will be sent to the address on your account within 14 days of you submitting your final results and clicking the 'Challenge Complete' button. Awards are not guaranteed - they are sent only on successful completion of the challenge and submission of the results by the deadline.
Submissions and Results
Session details can be recorded using a cycle computer, fitness watch or app such as Strava/Map my Ride or manually using a watch and pre-mapped route (eg using google maps).
Challengers will need to use our online submissions form to inform us of their session details. We will need the date of the activity, the distance you cycled and the time it took you. If you complete the distance in multiple sessions, you can submit each one separately. The submission form can be found both on the submissions page, your My Account page and will be sent via email when you sign up. You will see a record of all your submissions for this challenge on the submissions page and the results table will update with each submission. You must be logged into your account to submit and view submissions records.
You will need to indicate to us that you have completed your challenge and wish it to be checked and your awards sent, using the Challenge Complete button on the submission page.
The final results table position for the challenge is determined by time.
Our challenges are honesty based and require challengers to accurately and honestly record and submit their own results.
All cycling for the challenge must be completed by the end of 31st December 2021. All results must be submitted by 5th January 2022 - results submitted after this date or challenges not completed will not be included in the results table and the awards will not be sent.
Gifting to others
If you wish to purchase this as a gift for someone else, please click the 'GIFT THIS PRODUCT' button. You will have the option to send it by email on the date of your choice and you will also be sent a printable version if you want to gift it in person too. You can even pick the Gift Voucher design or upload your own. This won't reserve their place - they will need to enter the challenge via the link in the gift card.
100% of profits from your challenge entry fee will be donated to these great charities. If you wish to further support them by getting sponsorship for your challenge you can either set up your own Just Giving page and select WNDLR Air Ambulance or the national Children's Air Ambulance as your charity or join their Team Mission for this challenge.
